We are currently seeking a Repairman to join the Engine Department of M/S Finlandia. This is a permanent position, starting in September 2025 or as agreed.
As a Repairman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel’s technical equipment, ensuring everything remains in excellent working condition. On board M/S Finlandia, the role rotates after each shift between Engine Repairman, Sanitary Repairman, and Interior Fitter duties.
We are looking for a positive, service-oriented professional with strong language and technical skills. The working language onboard is English; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an asset.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
-Strong problem-solving abilities
-The ability to work independently
-Hands-on technical skills, especially in welding and lathe operation
We are seeking a team member with relevant qualifications and experience, a proactive approach to safety and environmental standards, and a positive attitude.
Requirements:
-A valid Able Seafarer Engine / Repairman Certificate (STCW III/5)
M/S Finlandia sails under the Finnish flag on the Helsinki–Tallinn route. The position follows a 1:1 rotation schedule. Salary according to collective agreements.
