Hyvä ruoka on meille sydämen asia. M/S Finlandialla omavalmiusaste on korkea, ja keittiössämme tehdään päivittäin ruokaa sadoille asiakkaille laadukkaista raaka-aineista.

Kokkina toimit keittiötiimissä vuorotellen lämpimän- ja kylmän keittiön sekä kahvilabistron kokkina. Kokin työ M/S Finlandialla tarjoaa ainutlaatuista käytännön kokemusta ison ravintolakokonaisuuden pyörittämiseen. Viihdyt meillä, kun sinulla on reipas ote työntekoon, pidät ripeästä työtahdista ja nautit asiakaspalvelusta.

Arvostamme hyvää kielitaitoa (erityisesti suomi, englanti, viro), laivan virallinen työkieli on englanti. Laivalla tehdään vuorottelutyötä siten, että jokaista laivatyövuoroa seuraa yhtä pitkä palkallinen vapaajakso (esimerkiksi 1 viikko laivalla ja 1 viikko vapaalla).

Laivalla edellytetään voimassa olevaa passia /kansainvälistä ID-korttia ja 18 vuoden ikää. Lisäksi merimieslääkärintodistus on pakollinen koko merimiehistölle, sellaisen voi hankkia Merimiesterveyskeskuksesta.

We are hiring cooks for the summer for M/S Finlandia – come join our cheerful crew and create delicious memories at sea!

Good food is a matter of the heart for us. M/S Finlandia has a high level of self-sufficiency, and our kitchen prepares food for hundreds of customers from high-quality ingredients every day.

Our cooks are part of the kitchen team, alternating in the hot and cold kitchen and the Bistro Café kitchen. A cook position onboard M/S Finlandia offers unique practical experience in running a large restaurant complex. You will enjoy working with us if you have an active approach to work, you like a fast pace of work and enjoy customer service.

We appreciate good language skills (especially English, Finnish, Estonian), the working language onboard is English. Work onboard is rotated in shifts, so that each working shift onboard is followed by an equally long free period (for example 1 week onboard and 1 week off).

On board a passport or international ID-card is needed and a minimum of 18 years of age. In addition, a seafarer's medical certificate is mandatory for all sea crew, this can be obtained at a Seafarer's health center.

We apply a drug testing practice for new employees.
