We are hiring a housekeeping professional for a fixed-term supervisory role onboard M/S Finbo Cargo for the period August 2026–May 2027.

The Housekeeping Supervisor acts as the immediate supervisor of the ship’s cleaning staff, is responsible for organizing and leading the housekeeping operations, and participates in practical cleaning work. The role also includes shift planning for the entire hotel department.
To succeed in this position, you should have previous experience and/or education in housekeeping or cleaning, as well as leadership or team management. You are flexible and able to work well with different people. You should also be able to carry out your work and safety-related tasks in English and have at least basic Finnish skills. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to handle pressure.
Work onboard is organized in shifts, where each work period onboard is followed by an equally long paid period off (for example, two weeks onboard and two weeks off).

Housekeeping Supervisor toimii laivan siivoushenkilöstön esihenkilönä, vastaa siivoustyön organisoinnista ja johtamisesta sekä osallistuu käytännön siivoustyöhön. Lisäksi tehtävään kuuluu koko talousosaston työvuorosuunnittelu.
Tehtävässä menestyminen edellyttää aiempaa kokemusta ja/tai koulutusta siivousalalta sekä esihenkilö- tai tiiminvetotehtävistä. Olet joustava ja tulet hyvin toimeen erilaisten ihmisten kanssa. Pystyt hoitamaan työtehtäväsi ja turvallisuuteen liittyvät tehtävät englannin kielellä, ja sinulla on vähintään perustason suomen kielen taito. Sinulla on hyvät organisointi-, vuorovaikutus- ja johtamistaidot sekä kyky toimia paineen alla.
Laivatyö tehdään vuorojärjestelmässä siten, että jokaista työjaksoa seuraa yhtä pitkä palkallinen vapaa-aika (esimerkiksi kaksi viikkoa töitä ja kaksi viikkoa vapaata).
