We are currently seeking a Watch Motorman to join the Engine Department aboard M/S Finlandia. This is a permanent position, with employment starting in September or as agreed.
M/S Finlandia operates between Helsinki-Tallinn under Finnish flag. Work rotation is according to a 1:1 system.
About the Role
As a Watch Motorman, you will participate in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of the vessel's machinery and technical equipment. You will help ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner, while contributing to the smooth operation of the Engine Department.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has relevant professional experience and the required qualifications for the position.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and environmental awareness.
Is positive, service-minded, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Possesses strong technical skills and an interest in marine engineering and maintenance.
Has a good command of English, which is the working language onboard.
Knowledge of Finnish and/or Swedish is considered an advantage.
Qualifications
A valid Watchkeeping Rating Engine Certificate (STCW III/4) is required.
Higher engine department certifications or competencies are considered an advantage.
